Cinecoach
production systems arrives in Hollywood, California to rave reviews
from the motion picture and television industry with regard to
its utility, design and compact ability. During its Los Angeles/Hollywood
showcase Cinecoach production systems was invited to several studios
and locations including, Sunset-Gower Studios, CBS-Radford Studios
and Downey Studios. Productions included, American Dreams, Six
Feet Under, Still Standing, The Bernie Mac Show, Michael Bay's
Amityville Horror, The Island and Jerry Bruckheimer's, CSI: Crime
Investigation Unit's Special Effects studio. Other locations included
several television commercial productions within the Southern
California region. Cinecoach production systems was presented
to several producers, directors, cinematographers and other craft
persons who have stated; "Job Well Done!", "It's
what the Reality Television and Music Video World has been looking
for."
In
1980, he became a Certified Steadicam Operator by attending the
Cinema Products course in Los Angeles, California developed by
Garrett Brown, the inventor of the Steadicam stabilization system.
He
was personally requested by Sammy Davis, Jr. to become the technical
advisor and operator of Sammy's Beverly Hills home screening room.
(1983- 1990). The state of the art screening room equipment was
given to Sammy and Altovise as a wedding gift from the late Howard
Hughes some years prior. Throughout the years, Sammy orchestrated
what became a continuous weekend event for the celebrity and his
friends within the industry. Virgil spent New Years eve, 1990
toasting with Sammy and company not knowing it would be his last.
He was present at Sammy's Beverly Hills home weeks later when
he passed on May 16th, 1990.
In
1987, he was at that time, the youngest individual to ever possess
a state of Nevada Gaming License issued by the state of Nevada
Gaming Control Board as a Casino-Hotel Owner and Operator.
He
is also a retired Deputy Sheriff (at age 46) from the state of
Nevada. He completed the required state of Nevada Police Officer
Stanadard and Training (P.O.S.T.) requirements in 1991, eventually
being promoted to Field Training Officer and obtaining several
"Instructor Development" degrees over a twelve year
period. He has also technically advised writers and producers
with reference to authenticity of law enforcement project developments.
He also attended other police academies within Southern California.
At the same time, he managed to own and operate his own production
company winning several awards including an Emmy Award nomination
in 1999-2000 as a Producer (San Francisco, California.)
He
has also been known to be very "pro-active" when it
comes to placing and working with women in the motion picture
and television industry. He has assisted in raising over 2 million
dollars through various productions which benefit women's organizations.
Including the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Research Center in
New York, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (M.A.D.D.) and The Global
Fund for Women.
